He is the son of Nelson Castillo a visual artist known as the "Father of Miniature Painting" here in the Philippines. Castillo has been generating serious interest among collectors in the art scene via his eleven (11) highly successful solo art exhibits, seventy (70 plus) group shows, numerous art contests and awards, art fairs, and workshops.
